We are who we are

Our customers include european universities and research institutes for oceanic seismology as well as multinational companies working in off-shore oil and gas exploration. We specialize in the registration and processing of weak signals that are being aquired under difficult conditions. Built into ocean bottom systems, our recorders are deployed in depths up to 6000 meters where they can stay up to more than one year, before they will be retrieved for new missions. Therefore, they have to be especially small, rugged, energy saving and time-stable.

We have made a significant progress in the development of seismic sensors: our "fullt tilt"® geophone can sense ground movement in every orientation, which has made customary gimballing systems obsolete.

Through the continuos growth of our experience, we created the new μCore processor technology. By implementing the whole signal processing chain with programmable logic arrays, a dedicated processing chip is no longer required. Compared to traditonal approaches, this makes our equipment more energy efficient, more comprehendable and thus more reliable.

Our team mostly consists of engineers from various fields of expertise, which cover the whole range from mechanics, analogue and digital electronics up to designing ASICs, programming FPGAs, and of course software development.
